Thomas Frank’s men continue to build their reputation as one of the Premier League’s most dependable home performers. The 3–1 win over Liverpool highlighted their ability to combine intensity, organization, and efficient pressing at the Gtech. Brentford’s home record this season is impressive - victories over Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Liverpool, plus a 2–2 draw with Chelsea - and the only defeat came narrowly to Manchester City (0–1). The Bees’ pressing system and aerial strength make them very tough to beat on their turf.
Newcastle: Strong at Home, Weak Away
Eddie Howe’s side have rediscovered form recently, winning four of their last five matches in all competitions, including a midweek 2–0 Europa League victory over Athletic Bilbao. However, the glaring issue remains their away record: in five Premier League road games this season, Newcastle have yet to win - losing three and drawing two. They look less aggressive and less efficient outside St. James’ Park, especially when forced to break down compact mid-table teams like Brentford.
